Our Finance Team
Led by a qualified Director of Finance & Administration (CPA, MBA), our finance department works closely with project accountants and program managers to ensure effective stewardship of donor funds and compliance with IFRS, IPSAS, and Tanzanian NGO regulations.
Financial Systems & Controls
We use Tally accounting software for daily transaction recording and real-time tracking, enforcing segregation of duties and multi-level payment verification to minimize risk; management reviews reconciliations and submits reports to the Board’s Finance & Audit Committee for oversight.
Reporting & Compliance
Annual financial statements are externally audited, with findings presented at the Annual General Assembly. We comply with donor-specific reporting formats and deadlines, ensuring that partners and funders have full visibility into the use of resources.
Integrity & Whisleblowing
PDF maintains a whistleblowing mechanism allowing staff, partners, or community members to confidentially report misuse of funds or ethical breaches. Reported cases are reviewed by senior management and the Board, with corrective action taken promptly.
